3 to 7 Days Gastronomic Programs
Immerse yourself in the Mediterranean lifestyle by staying with a local family in a traditional Portuguese farm. Join us for our farm-to-table cooking classes, where you'll have the chance to visit some of the finest local markets and hand-pick fresh ingredients directly at the farm. Explore the local culinary scene as we take you to meet our trusted producers, including an internationally awarded olive oil producer. Discover the secrets of the finest Fleur de Sel crystals in the world, harvested from beautiful salt marshes, and even collect your own oysters in a unique Natural Reserve. Dive into the world of local wines as we visit vineyards and indulge in tasting sessions.
The programs include 3 to 7 nights accommodation at Monte do Álamo, our Charming Rural Hotel in Tavira, integrated in a 7 hectare farm with beautiful views over the sea and Tavira (5 min. drive). We are certified organic producers and use our own products and from local producers in the menus we cook in our cooking classes and serve to our guests.
These programs are also available for clients staying in a different accommodation.
We have prepared standard programs with different durations. Those programs include a variety of activities to introduce you to the authentic Portuguese gastronomy and culture, but can always be adjusted to each ones preferences.
The groups are small (2 to max. 12 people) and generally are a mix of couples, singles, and friends traveling together. Everyone is here to enjoy the experience of cooking, eating and meeting new people, so never a problem for solo travellers.
Private programs for groups are also available (with the exclusive use of the house and all facilities).

A complete introduction to the Portuguese culinary.
Includes 3 nights accommodation at Monte do Álamo with breakfast, Cooking Class, Dinner, Visit to a local producer, City tour and Boat tour with a Picnic.

An exclusive program designed for families and friends to experience the simple and authentic rhythm of Algarve countryside and seaside. The group will have the exclusive use of the hous (max. 6 rooms / min. 4 nights ) and will be assisted by our staff. (Available from February to October)

Booking Conditions
The Booking Conditions you agree to when you make your booking apply to your trip.
You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% for your booking to be confirmed. If your booking is made within 60 days of the departure date then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
Our advertised trip prices are subject to variable and seasonal pricing, both of which are standard practice within the travel industry. This means our trip prices may vary at any time in accordance with demand, market conditions and availability. Once you have received a quote the price will be locked in provided you pay the required deposit prior to the quote’s expiry. Any reduced pricing or discounts that may become available after you have paid your deposit will not apply. If you wish to cancel your booking to take advantage of a cheaper price, full cancellation conditions apply.
If you cancel some or all portions of your booking, the cancellation terms set out below will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation (by email).
If you cancel a trip:

60 days or more prior to departure - we will hold the non-refundable deposit amount as a credit (this can be used in a future program booked in the next 180 days - subject to availability).

Between 31 and 59 days prior to departure - we charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking cost;

Between 30 and 15 days prior to departure - we charge a cancellation fee of 60% of the total booking cost;

14 days or fewer prior to departure - we charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking cost.
If applied, the refund process will be initiated within 10 days of receiving your communication.
