Cooking Class & Lunch at the Farm - Traditional Portuguese Food
This activity starts with a guided visit to Tavira Market followed by a Cooking Class in our traditional farm, Monte do Álamo where participants will prepare a complete meal, full of rich local flavors.
The menu includes 3 courses (starter, main course and dessert). You can chose from several options (meat, fish, seafood, vegetarian...) and finishing always with a delicious dessert.
Next, you are invited to share the delicious meal you have prepared in a beautiful setting.
Participants will learn the recipes step by step, and participate in all parts of the process, from the selection of the ingredients in the local market and the farm, to the final product and posterior tasting.
The recipes used in this class are part of the rich and healthy Mediterranean Diet, characteristic from the south of Portugal: Alentejo and Algarve
